COLO SPRGS, Colo. (Jul 1, 2026) – USA Shooting concluded its 2026 National Championship season, crowning champions across Olympic and Paralympic rifle, pistol, and shotgun disciplines. Held throughout May and June, the championships brought together Olympians, Paralympians, National Team members, collegiate standouts, and rising junior athletes from across the country to compete for national titles while continuing to build the future of Team USA.

Peter Fiori, Men’s 50m Smallbore Rifle
Rifle National Championships
Hosted by the Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) in Anniston and Talladega, Alabama, the Rifle National Championships showcased exceptional performances across Olympic and Paralympic rifle events.
In Men’s 10m Air Rifle, Peter Fiori claimed the national title, while Griffin Lake earned junior national champion honors. Isabella Baldwin captured the Women’s 10m Air Rifle title, with Elizabeth Probst taking the junior national title.
Lake continued his impressive week by claiming the Men’s 50m Rifle Three Positions national title, while Braden Peiser earned the junior national title. Cecelia Ossi captured the Women’s 50m Rifle Three Positions title, and Karlie Lynn was crowned junior national champion.
Para rifle competition featured standout performances across multiple classifications. Agapito Morales won the R1 Men’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 title, while Taylor Farmer claimed the R2 Women’s 10m Air Rifle Standing SH1 championship. Toai Nolan captured national titles in both R3 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone SH1 and R6 Mixed 50m Rifle Prone SH1, while Benjamin Hays earned titles in R4 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Standing SH2 and R5 Mixed 10m Air Rifle Prone SH2. Jadon Nafzinger rounded out the Para Rifle champions with the R9 Mixed 50m Rifle Prone SH2 national title.

Pistol National Championships
Hosted by Hillsdale College at the new John Anthony Halter Shooting Sports Center Nimrod Complex the Pistol National Championships showcased Olympic and Paralympic athletes competing for national titles.
Nick Mowrer claimed the Men’s 10m Air Pistol title, while Mark Shen earned junior national champion honors.
In Women’s 10m Air Pistol, Suman Sanghera captured the national title, with Sophie Li earning the junior national title.
Keith Sanderson claimed the Men’s 25m Rapid Fire Pistol title, while Blaine Simpson earned the junior national title.
Lisa Emmert Traciak captured the Women’s 25m Sport Pistol title, while Eva Allan claimed junior national champion honors.
Para pistol competition was led by YanXiao Gong, who captured titles in P1 Men’s 10m Air Pistol SH1, P3 25m Pistol SH1, and P4 50m Free Pistol SH1. Debra Freed earned the P2 Women’s 10m Air Pistol SH1 national title.

Rachel Tozier, Women’s Trap National Champion
Shotgun National Championships
Held in Hillsdale, Michigan, the Shotgun National Championships brought together the nation’s top skeet and trap athletes for another successful week of competition.
In Skeet, Olympic champions Samantha Simonton and Vincent Hancock were named Women’s and Men’s Skeet National Champion Title holders. Madalynn Schroder earned junior national champion honors in Women’s Skeet, while Aidin Burns captured the junior title in Men’s Skeet.
In Trap, Rachel Tozier claimed the Women’s Trap national title, while Will Hinton captured the Men’s title. Taylor Dale and William Berry earned junior national champion honors in the women’s and men’s competitions, respectively.
The 2026 National Championship season also reflected continued growth across USA Shooting’s premier domestic competitions. Rifle Nationals welcomed 209 event entries and 122 unique competitors, the highest participation in the past three years. Pistol Nationals reached 172 event entries and 121 unique athletes, also marking a three-year high. Shotgun Nationals recorded 230 total qualification entries, the highest participation over the same period. Growth was seen across all three disciplines, highlighted by increases in Women’s Rifle, Women’s Trap, and both Men’s and Women’s Skeet, reflecting continued momentum and an expanding pipeline of athletes nationwide.
